I only see a few problems with that: 1. I can't be bothered to BUY a printer. I have a perfectly good 1200dpi Lexmark Z52 inkjet that does (as you'd expect from a Lexmark) extremely crisp document prints and is USB. Beside this the Deskwriter was free and I only want a draft printer to save chewing ink up on my Lexmark, I have 3 spare carts for the Deskwriter C in a box in my room, I don't think ink is a problem :). 2. The logistics of getting hold of a Laserwriter are pretty bad. For one shipping somwthing that weighs that much to my place would cost a fortune, even inside Europe or the UK. For anther I live upstairs and the parcel man delivers stuff downstairs :). I also am looking to move out of this place and don't want to have to lug my Laserwriter around when I move. 3. Where do I put it, I just organized my room to get all my stuff in. Inkjets are light and can be put up on a shelf. Laser printers of that vintage weigh a ton and would probably not do my shelf any good! I hear what you say but it sounds like something I just don't need. -- -- Mark Benson Any spelling errors are attributed to PEBKAC Vintage Macs List Nanny SilValleyPirate - AIM silicon_valley_pirate_uk - Yahoo!
