He definately shouldn't use that tool to discharge a
CRT, but what I haven't seen anyone mention is that I
don't believe he needs to.

He said he had a SE/30.  Isn't the SE/30 setup to
discharge itself on power down?  Somewhere in the back
of my mind, I think I remember someone saying this.

Nonetheless, before cracking mine apart to add RAM and
a NIC card, I let it sit for two days unplugged,
avoided the back of the CRT, and had no problems...
