Mine didn't have internal hard disk. It was only a casing still in 
the box (compontents in plastic bags suggested that it never had been 
used)... I put in a 120 mb 2.5 inch scsi hard disk. It was the only 
one I could find. Had to rob it from my powerbook 100. It functions 
just fine. Installing sleeper stopped the spinning somewhat but I 
thought it still too loud. The combination of drivers for the iomega 
floptical, the iomega zip and the asante en/sc together with sleeper 
caused a major conflict that made the system extremely unstable. I am 
back to the iomega floptical as a startup disk. It is by far the most 
silent boot disk.
