This doesn't solve the problem. Everything works alright when 
starting up from floppy (as before), but the Plus refuses to boot 
from the ramdisk giving the same error message as before. It is also 
still necessary to delete a file or folder from the server before 
copying an updated file or folder to the server. I guess the system 
just can't handle 60 gig hard disks, which is pretty understandable 
considering its 2 gig limit.
All in all: the desktop manager extension isn't always a good idea on 
a Mac running system 6.
