The easiest way would be to switch out the mobo with a Color Classic II motherboard, aka Performa 550. It is a total retro-fit but operates at 33mhz and can handle 33mb ram in addition to the 6mb onboard. You might need to add a system enabler or reinstall the OS, but this is the only modification. The "Mystic" conversion is better, but this requires the 575 board which would then require the VGA modification to the analog board. If you are handy with a soldering iron and don't mind fooling with the CC's insides, I prefer the "mystic" conversion. .............................Mike T. ----- Original Message ----- From: "dhill" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Compact Macs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, October 21, 2002 5:41 AM Subject: Zip on Compact
