European prices _are_ much higher than in our former colonies, but I'd 
have thought that $29.50 was fine for a working Classic, but rather a 
gamble if, as could be the case, it's the actual CRT (tube) that's 
dead. If it's been damaged, no-one can save the tube.

So, I'd demand to check inside the Classic to see what the damage 
_might_ be before paying 30 euros!
