Yes. > And if yes, exactly to what extent? Followed the instructions that came with the card, for the most part: Opened the case, discharged the CRT (I always do this when working on anything with a CRT, regardless of whether or not it has a bleeder resistor), clipped my wrist strap to the chassis, removed the metal shroud from the bottom of the chassis, removed the card bracket from the back of the chassis, disconnected and removed the hard drive, pulled the video board off of the back of the CRT and moved it aside, slid the main Asante card onto the PDS socket, attached the satellite card to the bracket, put it back together, booted up, installed the drivers that came with it, shut down, hooked it into my router, booted up again, and started MacHTTP (whew!). Everything went without a hitch for six hours, so I shut it down. The next afternoon, I booted back up, launched MacHTTP, and it ran fine until about midnight, when I was web surfing on my dad's Yosemite, and I heard a very light "click" come from the SE/30 behind me. I turned, and BlackWatch's floating clock had been replaced with the pattern I linked to in my first email. > Were any cables unplugged? > Was MB removed? > Did the Asante ever work right? see above. > > Gamba > <http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2> -Tim __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
