Mount it on the desktop using Disk Copy or MountImage or whatever you prefer.

Select All -> Drag to 1.4 disk. Works quite well. I've had some issues with 
bootdisks of ancient system releases on MFS format disks, but otherwise it 
seems to work fine. I even made a HD bootable disk of System .97 that boots 
my Mac Classic fine :)
