Yo compacters everywhere, To my thread here, our Scott Holder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> replies:

Works great ;) Thanks Scott. This is my very setup I use with other 030 and better Macs. I'm glad it is gonna work here too. I already have all of the parts lined up on a SyQuest disk. I just start launching installers, clean 'em up, and have just the setup you describe. I am looking forward to the Classic II being a bit quicker running System 7.1 than on OS 7.6.1. We shall see. And thank you Gamba <http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2> for the "Small correction" paraphrased as follows: (OT 1.1 first, then 1.1.2; using the installers is imperative because the System suitcase gets modified. Top it off with CFM Runtime Enable 4.0 which allows using NN 4.0.8, the only 68K browser that has valid security certificates.) Hardly a "small" correction by any measure. Gamba, does the current 68k version of iCab not handle security certificates correctly? I am tending towards iCab as my 68k browser of choice keeping NN 4.0.8 close at hand. Oops. -p just asked that question. Thanks for the discussion guys. Yup, they are still workin' on iCab for us. Bill -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
