Exactly how did you do this? Forgive my scepticism but all of the Netscapes I have ever used right back to the 0.8 betas required Color Quickdraw which isn't possible on a 68000 Mac, even one which has been given a 68020 or 030 accelerator. Incidentally, my experience of MacWWW (aka Samba) on a Mac II was that it was stable but unable to access any site that used HTTP 1.1 multihoming. Multihoming allows a single server to serve websites on two diferent domains (eg www.a99.com AND www.b33.com) and is commonly used by companies that sell web space.
