Yeah I saw that. Might be that people want to ditch them :) Good for me coz I bought some of those...

As for the colour classics, I'm sure I can get them all in good working order but I need a Colour Classic for a project and just can't find any that are busted, seriously, I have been trying for ages.

While I have people's attention. I want to take the leads of the monitor in the Colour Classic and stick a VGA plug on it (and do the VGA mod). Is that possible?
I would like to turn a colour classic into a monitor and stick my external firewire cd burner into it while having a G4 under my desk :)

Also would like to know if anyone ever tried to stick the innards of a colour classic inside a plus case.

As for compacts fading, a month ago there was only a couple of compacts for sale on ebay.co.uk (in the UK, unlike on ebay.com, even SEs usually sell for something.) Now, there are a dozen or more compacts for sale, so perhaps the interest is picking up again? FWIW I sold a Classic II for 50 just before Christmas, and the buyer is very happy with it. But the more compacts there are, the lower prices tend to be, so I'm not sure which situation I prefer. ;-)
