Last I knew AOL had quit working with anything prior to v4.0, which
means 68Ks
are now fully cut off from AOL.

Nope just installed AOL 3.0 on my IIci 32mb ram system 7.6 and wolla
welcome you've got mail.
Just used an AOL 7.0 cd it has all versions on it and installs the
appropriate version. Of course it's no speed demon, it's actually dam
slow. Even connecting with my DSL its worst than a newer computer on
56k!!! Only took 5 minutes to get to aol.com. But I guess if you were
desperate.
