Hello to all,
I have a SE/30 with MacOS 7.5.5. Recently I purchase a Asante Mac CON
30ie (without chip, PN 09-00005-00 Rev C2) and the seller told me that
this asante works natively with Mac OS.
Well, I installed the board on PDS slot and turn on the power. I also
switch to Open Transport Networking.
When I acessed for the first time the TCP/IP control panel, it said
that ehernet is not avalable and it shows only that I can connect via
AppleTalk (MacIP).
I have 2 questions:
1. How do I know that asante card is working and has been detected by
the system?
2. How do I enable ethernet so that I can connect my Mac to my PC?
