Got into some better light and found that C6 and surrounding board is blackened.  I've 
got a couple of volunteers to do the resoldering.  Don't know how I missed it the 
first time.  Well, wish me luck.

If it doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to try hacking a LCIII or a Q605 into it.
