One of these days I'm gonna put this on a webpage, and out-faq the pickle. :-) Remove the ROM SIMM and re-install it. Then take a piece of tape and use it to pull the ROM SIMM over so that it sits more vertically in its socket. The tape fastens to top of SIMM at one end and fastens to nearest edge of MB at other end. I bet that will fix it. If that doesn't fix it then replace aluminum electrolytics C3, C4, C5, and C6 with tantalum chip caps. I can get them in ones.
