Howdy Y'All,
First off, I actively use my compacts (one Plus, an SE
and a Classic II, plus a Portable that I'm really fond
of...), and have gotten rather acquainted with each. A
number of these machines I've had to rebuild; the SE
was a recent acquisition that I dropped a spare board
into, and my Portable had to be rebuilt after being
severely damaged in a move. But, I would not be a Mac
enthusiast had it not been for my first, er, Mac...
well, it was a Lisa 2. Sweet machine, really, ran both
Lisa and Mac OS on two external hard drives. I hated
to let it go after just four months, but I was deep in
financial doo-doo at the time I found it (yes, on the
side of the road).
I never worked on that machine in the short time I had
it, but it made me love all things Mac. Now, at my
place of work, I've discovered a Lisa 2 hiding in a
closet, complete with two Profile hard drives. Here's
the dilemma. The Profile cables are missing. Would
regular RS-232 cables work?

Concerned in Connecticut
