The ProFile disks were first used in the Apple ///, and then in the Apple ][
and the Lisa. From what I know from the Apple ][ series, ProFile disks are
managed by a standar Apple ][-compatible disk controller, or a Woz (the
single-chip controller first used in the Mac 128k and the Apple //c). Thus,
I think all you should need is a parallel 19 wire ribbon from a male D-19 to
another male D-19. Please take into account that I'm not sure. I haven't had
any ProFile ever. It's only a guess based on what I know from the Apple ][
hardware. Can anyone confirm this?

Perhaps if you can take some tension measures on the ports of the Lisa and
the ProFile with them powered on, we could be a bit more sure... Let's see
the disk port specifications in my Apple //c Reference Manual (I bet it's
the same disk port used on the Lisa).

Greetings,

Antonio Rodrguez (Grijan)

P.S.: as you see, the Mac 128k shares much of its architecture with the
Apple //c . Not very surprissing, taking into account that both of them are
"compacts", they were released at about the same time, and both were
designed during the same year (1.983). Ok, I know - I'm in the Compact Macs'
list, and not in the Apple ]['s list. Sorry for the offtopic O:-) .
