It is possible, but the main problem is making the logic board produce a video signal that the Classic's analogue board might like. People have used the analogue boards and yoke from monochrome monitors to get a Classic or SE with grey-scale output, as at: http://www.stuartbell.dsl.pipex.com/PowerCC/PMGSP/PMGSP.html Note that the nature of the project changed half way through, and the PDS video card was dropped in favour of the 475 l/b.
