So, this is the questions:

> Classic and if so, how?

It is possible, but the main problem is making the logic board produce
a video signal that the Classic's analogue board might like. People
have used the analogue boards and yoke from monochrome monitors to get
a Classic or SE with grey-scale output, as at:

http://www.stuartbell.dsl.pipex.com/PowerCC/PMGSP/PMGSP.html

Note that the nature of the project changed half way through, and the
PDS video card was dropped in favour of the 475 l/b. Read to the end of
the page, and all will be clear.

Trying to use the standard Classic analogue board would be highly
challenging!

Stuart

Thanks for the www adress!
I think I have such a grey-scale monitor somewere.
Best thing ( for retro look) would be to use the built in 9" but it is probably to much work for the result, but why make life easy?
I will study Your project more carefuly and hide away in the workshop for some days :)

Thanks!
Daniel
