Hi again.

What do you mean by "phonenet"? At first I thought it was the telephone
network, but later I realised you were talking of some kind of adapter to
use phone twisted pair cable to coonect two macs... that should be almost
the same as making a direct null-modem connection. Am I right?

Ok, back to the original subject. The problem is that my only Mac is the
Classic. Appart from it, all I have are PCs, and very old 8-bit computers
(like an Apple //c, and Apple //e, a couple of MSXs...). Because of that, I
can't use another Mac as a bridge to the network, and thus I have to make
the bridge using a PC. This makes me use PPP or SLIP, I'm affraid. Having
said this, here goes teh questions:

1) What TCP-IP stacks are available for a 68k Mac running System 6? And
with System 7?

2) Do you know if any of them support PPP and/or SLIP?

Perhaps I should buy a more recent Mac, but I don't think I'll have enough
space on my new home for all my old computers :-( . And anyway, making it
with an old and limited machine is sooo fun...

Greetings,

Antonio Rodrguez (Grijan)
