I have a twin 800k SE that had a HD on a special bracket that off set it
back from the floppies in order to clear the crt. I removed it per the load
it placed on the power supply cause some issues. I wonder though if it might
be possible to use two 1.44 floppies by doing a floppy chip upgrade on a
twin 800k floppy model? I recently saw such a chip upgrade kit on ebay for
about $20.00. Didn't think I needed it. I like the 800k SE. Plus the fact
that the SE can run OS 2.0 - OS 7.5.5. Very versatile little machine.

I can't imagine why you couldn't make one from a normal FDHD or SuperDrive
SE. I
thought about it once, but I rarely need more than one floppy drive at a
time. I
heard someone shoehorned a hard drive in an SE that had two floppies
already, but I
can't imagine how. It's pretty tight in there with the CRT yoke and all.
