OK. I finally started trying(seriously, not foolishly)
getting my Mac Classic as an e-mail machine. I loaded
the Classic w/ sys 6.0.7, I'm using PPP 2.0.1, TCP/IP
2.0.6, and Eudora 1.3.1. I configured all of the
programs, and I restarted the computer. When the
desktop came up, a message saying "PPP:Insufficient
Memory!" popped up. Yes, I know what this means. I
have 2 MB of RAM on the Classic. I went to "About this
Finder" and it says the System file takes up like
200K/300K. It also says the Finder takes the rest
1700K! But it says it's only using about 400K of that
1700. So i went to the finder file to switch the
memory allocated from the "get info" option. WHen I
went there, it says it is only allocated 160K!

Ok. Here's my question. How can I change the memory
allocations so I could give PPP some memory to work
with? Or am I totally missing the problem???

Also, After I restarted, I checked to see if PPP would
work anyway. I looked int the control panel, and the
Open button on the panel was rey(in other words, i
couldn't click it...) is this a result of the
"Insufficient memory"?
