Alright, that's it. This is crazy... I just got on this carousel and we're already goin' round and round. First of all, I'm a fast learner. Second, if RAM Doubler only runs on 68020+ CPUs (right? not a 68000?), get Sim020. I'd get it off my Mac (can't remember where I downloaded it before), but I just shut it off, it needs to reset itself before I can turn it back on - I'll discuss that next email. Third, there is absolutely no reason Finder should be using that much RAM. Check the control panel - Disk Cache on the General page. Set it to 128kb, or even Off if you want. Not 1280kb :-). Fourth... come on. There is no need to disable MultiFinder... and no WAY to disable Finder itself. The only people who need to disable MultiFinder are people using WAY old Macs (128, 512, Plus, etc).
