Hi listees I just got myself a 4 mB RAM Classic II, to replace my Classic which had a fatal failure, after having served me well for 12 years. The "new" Classic II has an 80 mB hard disk. But in fact I should say "had"...: The previous owner had installed sys 7.5.3, and I wanted to reformat the HD before doing a clean install of sys 7.0 (which I prefer because it needs less RAM). So I ran the HDSC utility (which came with my previous Classic) to reformat the 80 mB HD, but to my utter amazement this operation made the HD shrink to 40 mB. There must be a way to fix this, I hope... Can anybody fill me in? And as a subsidiary question: I tried to install 6.0.7 on the Classic II, but that did not work. As I hate to give up 6.0.7 (which I love for its speed and its minimal RAM requirements), I wonder if there is a way to circumvent this. Thanks! Jan Warreyn
