Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I've used a program called DigSim to design several logic circuits. It has the basic gates and several types of latches and flip-flops that are already "black-boxed".
Once you have saved a circuit, it can be reused in other circuits as a module. I seem to remeber that it prints your diagram, but don't quote me on that. There is also a simulation mode in which you can set up various inputs and timing and have DigSim simulate the output. Output can also be simulated in real-time with manual input setting.
