There was/is a version of PSPICE for the Macintosh.

A quick google search turned up these links:

"Where to get free SPICE for Apple Macintosh"
"PSPICE, MICROSIM, ETC ETC"

http://www.repairfaq.org/ELE/F_Free_Spice3.html#FREESPICE_001

The links on the above are no longer working. After posting my message I did a similar search on Google for kicks and grins.

And this looks like an archive, but I have no idea what version, etc etc.

http://edt.elec.uow.edu.au/ftp/pub/simulation_progs/mac-pspice/

This is more promising, thanks.

I also read some discussion that the Mac version of PSPICE supports analysis but not schematic capture, but wasn't willing to put any time into careful reading. I have no urgent need for this, it's more just a thing that would be nice to have some day. Hence, my desire for the person who is immediately interested to report back.
