Thanks for the info Ken!
This drive has what I assume as the big 50pin connector on it. Now I had
an old old old SCSI scanner that had similar conenctions, but couldnt find
the cable, so I dunno where I can find one of those.

Little more research tells me the Mac I have is an SE FDHD found here
http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_classic/stats/mac_se_fdhd.html

It says it comes with a 20 or 40Mb hdd (Which I assume the Jasmine
DirectDrive 40 is, a 40mb hdd) and a "PDS expansion port" - I see the
expansion port, so I'm going to assume I have the correct model. The only
thing that would make me think diffrent is the copyright on my SE is 1988,
and the website says it was introduced in 1989 - so I'm hoping the 1988
copyright on mine is because it's still an SE, just a newer model and
thuse would have the old copyright.

It doesnt have an internal harddrive, like the site states, but that may
be because it has 2 floppy drives and thus no room for it.

Is there any dis-assembly directions for the Mac SE so I can get inside
without destroying it?
Also that boot disk page offers most of the downloads as .bin, which I
assume to be raw disk images - does this mean I can write them to a disk
with my PC and have it still work?
And is there anyplace to get accessories for this SE? Like perhaps a
CD-ROM, ethernet, etc.

And yet again, more questions, is it possible to hack a SCSI cable so I
can use an old Ultra SCSI2 drive with the mac?

Thanks for all your help, and sorry to bug you all - this is really my
first mac since grade school. I keep trying to buy one at apple.com, but
my credit sucks lol.
