I messed around with the 512k and discovered it has 2 problems. The hard drive does not spin up, and the screen will not light up either, even if you wait a few minutes and the contrast has been turned up. Also, the machine has no floppy drive in it. So it may just be a write-off. My working SE is OK, but I still need to get a SuperDrive & ROMs, or a whole Superdrive MB. Rather than go through all these contortions, I would like to know if any of you have a good SE/30 for sale? Doesn't have to have any mods on it, I can add things like RAM, better HD, etc. but of course nice if it's already there! Please let me know if any of you have one, I'm interested! That way I will have an SE and an SE/30 and I can set them up with Appletalk together. Thanks!
