Oh! I thought anyone could _read_ the forums. Sorry.
It's worth joining AppleFritter, but for those who don't, here's the text:
Just in case you thought that Taco would never be completed, a brief report on a little progress tonight.

A reminder that the main constructional foundation is an aluminium plate running vertically behind the front panel:

On front of that are located the LCD and driver PCBs, as previously shown at:

Tonight, I've:

1. Mounted the G3 l/b on the back of the ali plate,
2. Mounted the 60Gb HD on the base of the CC, with airflow all round, (I think some small rubber bushes are called for, as the plastic case shell magnifies the sound of the drive seeking!
3. Mounted the ATX PSU inside the case of the CC, so that the mains inlet lines up with the aperture in the CC case normally used for that purpose.
4. Connected it all up.
5. Rebooted Taco to make sure all is OK - which it is, since I'm posting from it. <phew>

With an LCD screen, there is a HUGE amount of space inside the CC, and I'm hopeful that all 3 PCI slots will be usable.

My digital camera's batteries need recharging, so photos will follow.

Next steps are the plastic surgery to the case side for port-holes, so I can bring front panel and case bucket together, connection of l/b to LCD part (needs custom built VGA cable -currently using external 18" LCD), and finally fitting of a cooling fan on the inside of the CC near the CPU heatsink.

We're getting there - very slow but sure.
Very good - looks like it's all coming together at last. Keep up ye good work :)
