What are you doing visa-vie the ports for USB and stuff from the PCI cards? (sorry I might have just missed that from the last time > around!)
Probably putting a cable from the card to a port on the back of the CC.
Incidentally, accidentally forgot to confirm the 'shutdown' command last night, and this morning all is fine and the case is bareky warm anywhere. Might not even need a fan, apart from the one built into the PSU . :-)
