My thought entirely, however you might be a bit pushed for space, especially with the video cable, as you will need a high frequency/quality cable and bending them too hard tends to fray the internal wires. Shouldn't be any trouble finding the ports for the back though - I'd be so tempted to find a 5 port USB powered hub mounted in a 5.25" back, discard the plastic, and put that in.
Incidentally, accidentally forgot to confirm the 'shutdown' command last night, and this morning all is fine and the case is bareky warm anywhere. Might not even need a fan, apart from the one built into the PSU . :-)
Yes G3/400 CPUs rarely get above about 40 degrees C while running idle. Flat out (using [EMAIL PROTECTED]) I've had mine (Al core not Cu) up to 58 or so, but yours being an upgrade chip is likely to be a bit more able to stand being used.
