I received an apple stylewriter printer with my CC, but unfortunately it does not seem to work properly. It receives the command to print from the computer just fine, but the ink does not seem to function. When the page comes out, it is completely blank. I have tried 2 different cartridges, full, to no avail. Any ideas?
Take the ink cartridge out and soak the receiver port on the print head with alcohol, either 90+% isopropyl or denatured. Let it soak for 30 minutes or so and then, leaving the ink cartridge out, print a page with a large black rectangle on it. Then try printing with the ink cartridge in. Try this several times until it starts printing normally. Also check to make sure the ink in the cartridge is still good.
