Re: rebuilding a Macintosh TV

As a former owner of a MacTV, I explored the (pitiful) upgrade options.  
Basically, the conclusions I came up with was yes, you could swap out  
the MOBO and increase RAM capacity and speed, but at the loss of the TV  
tuner. I found no simple upgrade path that allowed the TV tuner to stay.

Hopefully, some others on the list here can add more opinions to this  
topic...
