I have a line on a Macintosh TV, but he analog board may have a problem I'd be buying it from my friends parents (it's sitting in their basement right now) and they said the screen has a purplish hue to it. I have an old 575 laying around that I could pull the motherboard and processor out of and transplant it into the Macintosh TV. Would that work? Would I lose any video capability? It looks as though the tuner is in the PDS, but the RCA jacks appear to be on the motherboard. Is this right?
If that doesn't work, would a 550 work? I know the 550 has the 030 in it, which is what the Macintosh TV has, so it *might* be more compatible. Any thoughts?
