You CAN put those motherboards into that Mac, but it would no longer be a
MacTV.

It's motherboard has a TV tuner built onto it.

I have a similar problem. I have a MacTV with 2 motherboards. The first
works, but has no sound. The second has on-board memory issues. It "death
chimes" whether the RAM slots are full or empty.
