I installed 6.0.8 on the HD and the Plus is compatible with 6.0.8.  The only 
item in the Hard Drive after the Install is System Folder and it is blessed. 
 I scanned the 6.0.8 floppies with Disinfectant and none of the files came 
back with an error.

I have 6.0.8 on an APS SCSI 1.6GB External HD.  I tried to start the Plus 
up
with it, and it stops the blinking <?>.  No busy lights are lighted on the
HD.  I inserted a bootable floppy, and restarted.  It started with the
floppy and showed the HD on the desktop!!  Any ideas on how to startup w/
the HD?
If the drive is mountable and readable, but you can't boot from it, then 
the problem is that there is not a usable copy of the operating system on 
the drive.  Or there may be more than one copy of the operating system on 
the drive.

While booted from a floppy examine the drive contents and find any system 
folders (or scattered components in pre-OS 7).   If there is more than one, 
decide which you wish to keep and trash the others. If you do not wish to 
trash the others, you can disable them by removing the Finder from the 
System folder (I think; not sure that works on pre-OS7) or by renaming the 
Finder component to some other name.

If there is only one copy of the OS, then it is corrupt, incomplete, or the 
wrong version for use with the Plus.   I recommend that you delete it and 
reinstall a valid OS from floppies.   You may wish to examine the contents 
of the current system for components that you wish to keep.
