Once AGAIN we return to Pluses and SCSI external drives. I have a 2GB
Seagate Hawk in an external box I'd like to use to boot my Plus.
Trouble is when I attach it to the Plus it doesn't get to flashing a
disk/? icon it just goes black after the RAM test. It boots and works
fine with a 6.0.8 floppy and no SCSI devices.
The drive is set to TE (Termination Enabled) and TP (provide
Terminating Power) and hooked up via a straight 25-50 pin SCSI cable.
I've usd this arrangement before on the Plus (with a different drive),
but I've tried 2 other ones now and neither works right.

Check for a Spin Up mode jumper. The hard disk needs to be configured to spin up at power on.
