It does anyway.
I formatted it and partitioned it and installed 6.0.8 on a 250MB partition at the beginning of the drive. It reads OK and the install went well without a hitch. On reboot the machine just locks on the flashing ? screen (the ? doesn't flash) and the hard disk's LED sticks on although it isn't doing anything.
