I remember back when my dad was an admin at what was at the time Apples largest Canadian corporate customer, and they installed some large drives (2gb+) into what is now an older mac, i cant remember the model, running System 6. They might not have been SE/30's but it was around that time, and they did have a significant number of SE/30's at the time. The OS reported space as a negative, nonsensical number, but adding up the space of the files, it was using it all and the system went on its merry way without any other troubles.
You might not be able to do a command-i and get the size of the drive, but there is the possibility it could work. Just my thoughts. --Sean On December 16, 2003 08:38 pm, John F.
