I understand what you are saying. I tried to open it a few years back too, it doesn't work at all. Disk Copy, Disk Utility, Shrinkwrap, none of them can touch the thing. What I don't understand is why someone doesn't just make a .img, or better yet a .dmg, of the thing if they can open it, cause I sure cant.

Its down near the bottom of the page. I tryed mounting it in OS X.3 and it
would not mount. However I downloaded it on my beige G3 OS 9.2.2 and
it mounted no problem. The .dsk it seems is a vMac image. The system 6
disk image I downloaded for vMac is in .dsk and works. Hope this helps.
