Overseas shipping is very expensive. It is the problem we have to face all
that live in areas were Macintoshes are infrequent (as they are in Spain...).
For example, the s&h fees for eBay items the size of a computer card from the
USA to Spain allways go arround $8 to $15. I have seen several vintage
computers (Apple IIgs mainly) go out of eBay with a start price of $1 or
$0.01 (!) and without a bid because the overseas s&h costs were over $100 -
it really must be that because a package with a CPU, a monitor and a couple
disk drives is really big.

How about one of our US friends buying 10 of those SE/30 Ethernet cards from Small Dog and shipping them to one of us Europeans, from where we could distribute more sensibly?

If any one 'over there' would like to do it, I'd be most grateful, and would happily pay +10% over cost if they have a PayPal account to cover costs?
