I, as a new compact mac entusiast (spurred by the Mac 512ke I have asked questions about before), have hit the freakin motherload. Someone near where I live in California had a bunch of compact macs from the school his wife worked at that she wanted to get rid of. Mortified that he was considering the dump, I, via email, offered to take them. Well... here is a rough list of my new toys (I havent seen them yet because im still out here at school in Indiana):
17 Mac Pluses 3 original Macintoshes 3-5 Mac 512k's at least 2 Macintosh Classics 20 ImageWriter IIs 1 Laserwriter 17 20MB external harddrives a collection of spare motherboards about a gajillion spare keyboards and mice all original disks and manuals
He informed me that all but 4 of the above should work. Now, my questions:
1) some of them have permanent marker writings from the school on the top. What solutions do you guys suggest for cleaning the case?
2) LOL what fun things can I do with all these?
I can't wait to go home and play with these!
Thanks -Kendall
