I use what bike shops sell as 'chain degreaser' liquid. It's not active like bleach-based cleaners, so far less dangerous to the surface. But in my experience, with plastic sponge-type pan scourers, cleans of most things.
2) LOL what fun things can I do with all these?
Don't suppose they came with AppleTalk cables? You could have an awesome network! Personally, I'd sell the duplicates, and keep the best of each model, perhaps with an extra 128Kb Mac as 'reserve'.
