Next I bought a pair of 10BT hubs on eBay for $16.45 (including shipping). One 4 port and the other is an 8 port with one 10B2 port. Both came with wall-warts for power.
Also got a HP JetDirect Ex Plus for $6.50 (including shipping) that works fine. All that was lacking was a wall-wart and I happened to have one with the right output and connector gathering dust in a closet.
After getting it all plugged in I found an EMAC 10BT NIC card for the SE on ebay for $14.99 (yup including shipping). It included the manual and driver disk. Worked perfectly.
Pretty good deals can be had if you dig. I have to quit buying old Mac's. My desk is full above and below.

Hello Tarus,
TB> An easier solution would be to look for an old 10BaseT hub witha 10Base2 port on it. Then you just connect the thin-net cable to the hub, and RJ-45 to the rest of your network.
If David's 10base2 network card features an AUI port, another option might be to find a 10baseT transceiver (which may be less expensive than a hub). Your approach is more expandable though, and would let him add a whole fleet of 10base2 equipped SE/30s! :-)
