Well I decided to open up my Mac and have a look.
My motherboard matches yours that you have on your site.
but on mine one of the chips on the other side of the board
has a socket with a chip in it piggy backed on top soldered
to it with a couple resistors and also 2 wires going to another spot
on the board. So this is an original 128 that has been upgraded to
512k ram. I also own a Mac 512k and a Plus and a SE and SE FDHD
and SE sd and SE30 and Classic and Classic II and Color Classic
and LC ,LC II, LC III. And Many more Mac's including a Mac Portable
And a TAM. All together I have 40+ Mac's. And another 20+ other
various Computers like a Sun SparcStation5/110, A Atari ST1040,
A NeXTSTATION slab mono with Openstep 4.2 and the list just goes on and on.

See the page I made on what I found for motherboards in the 128, 512, Plus I
own.

The likelyhood that a 512 motherboard was placed in there is quite high.
Original 128's are a bit rare.
