Ok, I'm the (very happy) new owner of 3 Mac Plus computers that I rescued from certain doom. They are surplus from a university in Idaho, and I got them for a $25 including shipping costs. Apart from being very dirty, they're all in very good condition, with minimal yellowing. They're all cleaned up now and all boot up fine. All 3 are upgraded Mac 128/512 models (no Mac Plus marking on the front).

Two of them have a strange VGA-style port sticking out of the security slot. When I cracked open one of these, I saw that this port is connected by a cable to a daughtercard on the motherboard. I was unable to pull the motherboard without disconnecting some wires to this port, but I was able to see that the card had a copyright notice from Lapis Technologies on it.

Any idea what this card might be? A video out perhaps?

Any info is appreciated.
