Its a required file located in the system folder once the install has finished.
Yes, I did that, and it's all set up and working now. Note that I also had to put the enabler onto the system tools disk to format the drive before the install and also put it on the first "install" disk so it would be able to boot the machine to start the install. None of the other install disks or update disks needed it.
Now I'll start trying to deal with the noise. I see that it is covered in the Colo(u)r Classic FAQ, so I won't ask about it here, at least not now.
