At the risk of starting a flame war.... I just picked up a surplus (at work) 19" rack with dual Pentium Pro 200MHz processors. It's got an obscene 1Gb of ram. So I bought a Promise ATA133 PCI card and hooked it up to a 200Gb Hitachi Deskstar, and a CDROM. Loaded Windows 2000 pro. It's sitting in my garage hooked up to the network..... Much as I love old Macs, this is still a fast web browser, and is serving as a way to backup my families computers.
Keep an open mind.
