2) You build an elbow adapter from two Euro(whatever) connectors.
This route will involve a lot of patience, but you don't have
to worry about excessive heat or mistakes (you just redo your
own work). But I don't know how tollerant the bus is to noise
and this may allow some noise to enter the system.
You're thinking of the "120-pin Euro DIN connector". (ie PDS)
I've seen where you take two 96-pin Euro DIN [NuBus] with L-shaped
Leads. (easier to source) and cut/glue to create a new L-shaped
120-pin elbow adapter.
If I could only get hold of an Xceed Video card...
