Good question. While you other Mac wizards address her question, maybe someone can answer mine. The CC I just got has system 7.1 running on it with a 550 MB. How far can I go with upgrades before I either run out of speed, or hit the brick wall of compatability? In other words, I'm pretty sure upgrading a CC to OS-9 is impossible.
