DOH!

They would put those pesky little knobs somewhere easy to get to on the
Classic wouldn�t they?!?

I'm not going to tell you how long I stared at the boards in that thing
trying to find some kind of adjustment knobs!

So a failing power supply will make the image seem to shrink (vertically)?

I have no knowledge of testing or fixing power supplies (other than what
little I learned back in the old garage band days when an amp would stop
making noise and I thought I could fix it with a screwdriver and some guitar
string)

Thanks for the post on the CC networking stuff O.M., I'll try some of those
ideas next time I break out that machine!
